Rumor also has it that Mitch got married last week (just in time for the tax deduction ;) ). Congratulations Mitch! Until we can find a larger venue, we will meet at Tom Light's workshop in Eagle River. The next regular meeting is Jan 6th, 1-4 pm. The address is 18720 Roads End Cir. The agenda for this month is to look at the progress of the ficus trees from last summer's seminar. Bring your's, or a picture of it. An option is to bring something to repot, or just come for the fun. Also, I have some fuschias that are in need of help deciding what they want to look like when they grow up, so we can look at some of those. I have some fuschia starts if anyone wants to try their luck. Bonsai Instructor Tom Zane coming to AK!! 06/14/2006    Posted by: Paul Marmora Tom Zane will be here in July and will present three events for the Bonsai club folks. 08JUL will be a Ficus Nerifolia workshop. This will be a large tree (2-3" trunk caliper). On 09JUL, Tom will look at trees for club members and will offer critiques and advice. On 16JUL, Tom will have a presentation on the Ancient Tree Bonsai style--this should be fascinating. Please get with Paul for attendance in any and all of these events. Participation will be limited to the room available. Botanical Garden Fair 06/14/2006    Posted by: Paul Marmora We will have a show and demonstration at the Botanical Garden FAir again this year. We need people to display trees and to staff the table for us. This is a wonderful time to meet new people, promote bonsai and to work on your trees with others in the club.
